When the instructors occasionally beat peoples asses for not being christian, because they are so ridiculous in their own moral values. But you know what.. and excuse my language.. F--- them. I don't believe anyone is superior to anyone else in this world. no matter what circumstance, religion, race, sex, or intelligence. I hate it when people think they are more important than anyone else, because we are all human beings. and If i have to get my ass kicked around for what I believe in , I say do it every day, because they'll never change my mind. | I think you should at least respect people for, well, being people. Agnostics are either atheists or theists, and I think these particular people are better able participate in discussion and exchange ideas/beliefs, etc.
For the people that are intelligent, dealing with people with vastly different beliefs is a way to observe and examine those beliefs, and then seee the flaws in them, AND their own religion/beliefs. Another focus is to find truth of the spiriutal world.
Keep in mind all theists have rationale that support their beliefs; it may not be good logic according to your standards, but theyre not robots.

| Katnip, you say you're going to boot camp? Way back, I served in the Navy. My dog tags, I believe, said "No preference". I don't remember agnostic as a choice. May I ask why you have enlisted? |

| Also, when I was in boot camp, religion was never an issue at all. In fact, during my time in the Navy, I witnessed very little predjudice relating to religion, race, and gender. Sexual preference, however, was under attack at that time, and I knew several people who were objects of a "witch hunt". |
