Default I introduce my self

Hello Agnostic community.

My name is Wega Yendi. I am an Indonesian, 21 years old, and formally a moslem (according to my ID card). But, I'd got nothing satisfied from my religion teaching. By joining this forum I hope something to fill and enlighten my spiritual needs.

Thanks.

Welcome.

I truly hope that you find the spiritual community you seek. There are many different beliefs represented here.

To Duck, Budda, Saven, and the agnos.comm.
Thanks for your well coming my self. I have one thing to ask to whoever in this forum: If conceptions about God offered by modern religions (especially Islam and Christ) are impossible, is Platonism could be the best answer?

They're not impossible. They're just highly unlikely and there's no substantive evidence to support them. I personally think Plato would be a much better choice, but why do you need to light on any one particular thought leader? There are a multitude of philosophers and scholars who have written enough to challenge your thinking for the rest of your life, including those who wrote the bible and the q'uran.

But the real value of all that thinking and writing is as an input to the development of your own personal philosophy, which ideally will be a continual process. And the real test of the value of that philosophy is how well it serves you in everyday life.

Welcome, Wegayendi!

I don't know if there's such a thing as a "best" answer.

There are, however, better answers; but an answer that satisfies one person may not be of benefit to someone else.

Explore, inquire and enjoy!
