Default Greetings from the Volunteer State (TN)

Hi,
I'm an agnostic from Tennessee. I consider myself an agnostic in its literal sense (i.e. without knowledge) in that I don't know whether or not there is a god. I am open to the possibility, even though i am doubtful.
Best wishes to all,
tohn

I know some agnostics take the position that it is not possible to know whether god(s) exist, but theoretically, I think anything is possible.

That said, I don't know how you would prove it. If a deity appeared before me, how would I know I wasn't hallucinating or mad? And I certainly wouldn't expect anyone to just take my word for it.

Welcome to the Forum!

I think everything is knowable if we make the effort to prove it. Still way too much we don't know about the Universe.
