As a borderline deist i sometimes see God around me, in nature and in human beings. Atheist like to use the arguments that faith, love and emotions are just chemical reactions within the brain, and that these things were essential to the human race and so were created for such. I agree that this is all true, but one thing i wonder is if any or all of those things were planned. That a deity used evolution to produce all those things. We see animals with emotions but no where near the capacity that humans engage in. It makes me wonder, is this all part of the design ? Did a deity create a gene that causes people to have faith, so that while it helped them to live it also gave them the desire to find god ? Did god create love as a gift, and as a tool to interact with God ? What are you're thoughts ?
( when i mention god i am not limiting myself to the christian god, hence the deism
