Always based on language & symbols, and always require a designer
• Plans: Music, Maps, Instructions
• Human languages: English, Chinese, Spanish
• Computer languages: HTML, JPG,C++, TCP/IP, USB
• DNA

How DNA works
Encodes all information necessary for life
• Double Helix – Divides and complementary bases attach to make copies
• 4-Character Alphabet of Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine, Guanine
• A,T,C,G are comparable to binary 1 and 0 in computers
• # of characters in DNA: 500,000 (single cell parasite) to 3 Billion (human)
• DNA is an Encoding / Decoding Mechanism
• Linguistics Analysis is used extensively to analyze DNA

Proof that DNA was designed by God:
1) DNA is not just a molecule – it is a coding system with a language & alphabet, and contains a message
2) All languages, codes and messages come from a mind
3) Therefore DNA was designed by a Mind

IV. What is information? What Makes a Message?
1) Symbolically represents something other than itself (i.e. a book is more than paper and ink)
2) Requires a speaker (“transmitter”) and a listener (“receiver”)
3) Contains the elements of language – alphabet, syntax, meaning and intent

The Atheist’s Riddle: “Show me a message that does not come from a mind.”
So simple, any child can understand; so complex, no atheist can solve.

All known examples of evolution (genetic programs, social progress) have an ability to Evolve that is designed in.
Therefore life on earth, the Fossil Record, the Cambrian Explosion and Punctuated Equilibrium are a result of:
1) The ability to make evolutionary change is designed in (i.e. not random mutation, but pre-programmed variations); and/or
2) Multiple incidents of special creation

It might however be evidence that the universe itself could possibly be interpreted as sort of a God. It"s not the bible God though.

I was thinkin about it. Seems to be a fairly easy way of communicating I haven't done it yet. It has an easy capacity to spread virally.

What do you mean by the above? As in spreading a virus to your computer or in another manner?

I would believe that some of the crap on it is worthy of being labeled viral and spreading a disease of unbelievable garbage urban legends and out right lies. I've met people that believe all the crap that they see on it. I've gotten to the point that I run my personal emails thru snopes.com to check on the validity of the info ..... especially if it comes from my parents. What is it with older people that they believe everything on the news or what they read. I don't even try and correct their misconceptions unless they are way into left field ... It seems like most people 60 and over, that computers are just too much to learn. Granted not all. My Mom can't even figure how to turn it on and read her emails ... definitely a case of an old dog not being able to learn any new tricks. I apologize if I have insulted any of you in the 65 plus year old group/demographics.

BTW Og, of those 1400 pictures I took on my Europe trip .... I got amazing pictures! Some of them look well enough to be post cards. I have a Web site that I may post them on .... at this point I don't know if I want it broad casted for the masses. I have a fake name that I use for my web site ... for the book I'm writing (another project). Maybe once I get them placed and labeled, I'll PM a few of you trust worthy souls to view the site.

"Viral," where internet content is concerned speaks to how it spreads. It's basically the geometric or exponential propagation of an idea. It's very easy for this to occur on the internet. People just IM a link to something to their friends and videos are real easy and fast and multi-media.

I'd love to see your pics. I grew up with photographer parents (my mom is a professional photographer) and we always had a dark room in the house as we moved about (a converted bathroom or something). I've been around tons of cameras and pictures my whole life and can appreciate thousands of pics.

My dad says "no one ever say that they wished they took fewer pictures."

Ok and here is what i think even if everything he says in it is true. How does he know its his god.
