It was often attacked by Egypt, besieged by Shalmaneser V, who was assisted by the Phoenicians of the mainland, for five years, and by Nebuchadnezzar (586–573 BC) for thirteen years, without success, although a compromise peace was made in which Tyre paid tribute to the Babylonians. It later fell under the power of the Persians.
| This is what I thought. This is why the Tyreans considered themselves unconquerable as Alexander's army approached. |

So, they go into deeper, and darker perversions, until they reach homosexuality. God designed sex to be between and man and women; if we were all gay, we'd all be dead. Ugh
Just like to point out, can't speak for the rest of the homosexual populace, but I know I've certainly never been straight, I do not hang out in 'the wrong places' (please define?) and I have felt love. For another male.
I really don't understand the justification of this view of homosexuals. We aren't a bunch of cackling demon-beasts who sacrifice human babies then have violent, unconsenting sex with innocent straight men in a pool of their blood.
I have never been involved in 'deeper, and darker perversions' (again, define?) which led me to my 'homosexual perversion'.
I suspect, however, that there was really absolutely no point in my typing this, though, as you will never change. It's such a shame, really. |

| Well said, Wulfric. These types never change. They espouse hate of things they don't understand because some preacher told them "The Facts" or they read it in a bible.
We haven't even touched on the issue of bisexuality... |

We haven't even touched on the issue of bisexuality... | My favorite is when christian organizations sue universities, protesting the colleges' actions to prevent discriminaiton against non-christians, homosexuals, etc. Christians are saying that not being able to discriminate against them violates their freedom of religion!! Are you freaking kidding???

| Have you seen the fire storm the fundies are having over the Hate Crimes bill? They insist that the bill would outlaw a pastor from declaring homosexuality a sin. Not sure that is a correct interpretation, but the marches and anti *?* rallies would certainly be labeled as hate speech. |

| I know!! It's insanity!! Label it as free speech and those fundies would be ****ed into next week, but label it as free religion and it's 'oh, well, we don't want to restrict your religion, so...carry on then.'

| Ah you guys are killing me. Indeed the Christians need to get out of their Hobbit Hovels (I apologize to the fictional characters of JRR Tolkein and JRR Tolkein himself RIP) and take a look at the way the world REALLY works.
