My God has a panty fetish. I was reading (well, trying to, far too many words for my attention span) a thread about the logical outcome of God's omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, etc - and it reminded me, why can't people worship a god that admits its faults, that has worshippers that admit its faults, and generally lacks any form of imperfection. It seems like that would be the right direction to go, considering we're supposed to be created in the form of God.
Wouldn't it be so much more plausable if God had a substance abuse problem, fell asleep after creating half the universe and hasn't gotten back to plugging up those black holes, and neglects human kind because s/he was too busy perving on that sexy mortal showering?
If I were to worship a creator being, I'd at least like to relate to them. Would having a being of finite existence stunt the pulling power of religion or add a new dimension to worship?
