But you should realize that "very rarely", when there are billions of people on the planet, still adds up to millions of instances.

All kinds of things may be "possible", but where does the evidence lead?

Evidence is contradictory at the moment. Like i said there are many ways to explain sightings i.e an over active imagination, drugs, lack of sustenance and yes mental illness. But because mental illness can account for such things does not mean we should throw the idea out completely. If we lived in before the discovery of bacteria and I explained that i could see tiny creatures you would think me mad, wouldn't you ? Same can be said for those who see ghost and actually record changes in EM fields and tempuratures. Maybe Ghost are akin to the ancients of SG-1. They are sentient beings but exist as pure energy. If ghost can manipulate EM fields it isn't insane to assume they might be energy

Phidelis07 i agree, we mustn't be arrogant with our extremely little knowledge of this universe. There is compelling evidence out there of the existance of jinn/ghosts, and calling everyone who has ever witness such a thing 'mad' is utterly narrow-minded in my opinion.

I've had a few ghostly encounters.

No matter how real thay seemed at the time, I was able to find a logical explianation for all but one of them:

I saw a drinking glass levitate off a shelf, hover for a moment and accelerate across the room and shatter against the wall.

I can't explain it. I think there is something, I don't know what, to ghosts.

I wish I knew what it was. I still can't say I believe ghosts exist. All I can say is that in light of what I saw, I believe that it is quite possible that they do.

What pisses me off is that I was the only one who saw it happen. My sister heard the glass break from the next room. She saw me cleaning up the shards. I told her it slipped out of my hand.

So for the sake of the argument, lets just say for a moment that was a ghost and you believe they are real. Do you believe it then to be natural, or supernatural ?

Well jinn are said to be created from 'smokeless fire', kinda interesting what you mentioned about temperature. Can you elaborate?
