in the texas pledge, "one state under god" was added. i dont care that we have to say it now, i just dont see how it was worth the effort to change it. did it really bother christians that god wasn't in the pledge? they already say their own pledge in church (the nicine creed) so why do they feel they have to have god in all the other pledges. when i was a christian, i never thought "hey, why doesn't my pledge say god in it? i cant say it without having god in it..." |
