I agree with this. I love my parents, I feel they are my creator but I don't worship them. I wouldn't pray to them or ask them to forgive me everytime I did something wrong.

Yes lauraclay, but I love my mom, and my dad and plan that if God places me in a position where i can take care of them old and grey i will.
Same with helping my sibs out with life. But the way you love people Laura is totaly different from the way you love God. They are indeed both love, but one is indestructable unless you allow yourself to fall from God, and the other can be tweeked and twisted around.
God cannot hurt my feelings, my mom can my dad can my friends can, joe blow across the street can, but that is one thing God will never do.
God will never make me cry unless tears of joy where as family and friends can.
dont get me wrong God punishes you for your sins and yes this can anger you but you learn from it.

Why did "God" create evil? You know he did. (Isaiah 45:7: I make peace and create evil. I the Lord do all these things.) Why didn't "God" enlighten all beings from birth if he is real? Why would he send good people to hell to suffer if he created evil? I am afraid we will not know until the afterlife (if there is one.)
