Well, I will be honest with you, Og. I indeed have read about the ancient christian sect theraputae, who believed in reincarnation , a few years back.
Later on , I came to know about origen and his belief in reincarnation.
Then from the wikipedia , I understood that there was a tradition of reincarnation in christianity.
Going through the websites mentioned above, I found a couple of them ( by christians themselves ) stating that the references to reincarnation was deleted from the new testament by the council of constantinople.
This is what I wrote , using them as the base, and also considering christianity's past tradition in reincarnation that predated the Council of Constantinople in 522 and the other factors I have mentioned. I felt it was quite logical.
If I had erred in any manner, then I wish to apologize to you and to hawkie as well ( wish he was not so rude to me from the beginning itself ).
I have said all this sincerely and honestly.
