Satan worshipers interesting lot...your thoughts? - Page 2

To clear things up a bit and de clutter some dis-information.
There are two main types of Satanism.
Traditional: Those would be mainly Setians and Luciferians. They believe in an actualy deity and worship like most religions worship.

Modern: They usually go by Laveyan. They do NOT worship any deity because they are Atheists by nature. There are two main types of Modern Satanism.
There is symbolic: They use Satan to simply represent a way of being and living and of self.
Naturalist: They use Satan to represent the darker side of the purely natral world.

Then there are 'Devil Worshippers" These watch too much Buffy and usually have small penises and and long greasy hair. Usually you can spot them by their geocities websites. They have large red glowing skulls on their home page and talk about sacrifices. Their pictues are usually them dressed in long goth trenches that they got at the local Hot Topic in the mall. And usually the picture is taken in their parent's room because it's sexy.

So why do they even use the name Satanist? Or use Satanism. I love the occult so I had to put this topic back up where you could see it so I hope you don't mind.

I find it far more intriguing than the sanguine luxury of a God ready to please. The world is so much less like that... the occult and the "pagan" religions seem far more realistic except for the magic stuff but I look at that as more of a form of Yoga.

Simple answer: We use the concept of Satan to simply represent what we want to attain. I have Atheist beliefs. And I live out those beliefs through Satansism. Hope that explains it a bit more.

Aw thats right! I remember now... thank you for refreshing my head. Satan is used as a concept for achieving what the Satanist wants. They don't believe in sparing the rod if they are affronted but essentially as you described Aetheist. Cool thank you.

Heh, you would be surprised. It isn't just Satan worshipers that wake up and make this vow...

But people who do sell their souls to Satan get unatrual powers to move things without touching them. Alot of people think this power is "cool", but I can assure you it wouldn't be worth selling your soul for. Satan gives them a little power to keep them on his track.

Anyone who sees these people knows their is something wrong about them. Most people who don't believe in God or Satan feel something strange about Satan worshipers other than their beleifs, and many people have seen them do strange things that humans can't normaly do. And when you see these people you can see right away that they are evil.

But if they choose to make Satan their god, then they will be with him when they die. And everyone knows where Satan is going.

Do you know a lot of Satanists Faith? If you do... that makes it an odd backwards position based that your a devoted Christian. Tell us each personal story that you have ACTUALLY HAD with a Satanist. I ACTUALLY Know a few so I will compare my notes with yours. Levayans and Devil Worshipers alike!

I don't know if this has been mentioned but 'Satan Worshippers' surely have to believe in God as well. You can't really have one without the other. If this is so, then I'd say 'Satan Worshippers' are a pretty rotten group of people.

I have a friend who's a LeVay but he's alright. I think he does it simply to be different from everyone else rather than because he thinks it's a good thing to do.

Well there are Satanist who worship Satan. They are considered Traditional Satanist. Modern Satanist are usually Laveyan etc and do not worship Satan. They don't because they are Atheist by nature. So as Traditional Satanist may believe in God in their particular sect, Laveyans do not. Saying Satan Worshippers are rotten people? Can you please clarify who you mean, because as a Satanist being lumped into this rotten people catagory can get your ass kicked by a girl in pink.....
