For fun,imagine you could get through your TV screen onto the set of MASH where the actors didn't know they were actors and they believed they really WERE in a Korean field hospital.
At first they wouldn't believe you,but after you'd persuaded a few of them to remove their bandages and let them see they had no wounds,and after you'd convinced an actor playing the part of a dead man that he wasn't really dead at all,and persuaded him to stand up,they'd regard you as a miracle man!
Similarly,perhaps our own "reality" exists within some cosmic TV screen,and perhaps Jesus came through that screen 2000 years ago to show us we're only "actors"?

Both of the options you presented, and perhaps more. Isn't reality perception? So, if when looking at the picture you percieve another point of view, isn't that a reality? Perhaps not THE reality, as defined by cultural norms... but a reality nonetheless.

Some people look at Jesus and see everything, while others look at him and see nothing..

I would have to respose to imagary with the Kaniza Square. We believe in God because our ancestors saw patterns in the unviverse. We are pattern seeking animals. Much like the Kaniza Square our mind fills parts not there. We believe we see something as whole by supplying parts not there. Like the Kaniza Square the mind produces an image that isn't there. My illustration shows the activity if not necessity for structure. Simply structure allows us to relate to things around us.

I don't know if the people here, profess an open image of God. That is are we talking about Yahweh, Yahu'shuah (actual name of Jesus), or Alah. Pagans and wiccan's are theist. Anyone who believes in a Suprem Being or Force is a theist. Is there an alternate name we can use for God so we can know what we're talking about. I beleive there are many paths to God. I'd like to take a count, is there only 1 way to God or multiple ones.
