(I did a quick search before posting but I couldn't find anything decent) I'm not sure if anyone knows anything about Wicca as a religion, but I was wondering where a good place to start would be. I read that Gerald Brosseau Gardner is apparently the father of this neo-pagan religion, but I was wondering if anyone had any good books or references that could get me started? It's hard to start reading Occult literature because there are some imitators that are extremely misleading. I thought if anyone had any experience they could share .

Don't wiccans like believe in trees having feelings and stuff?? I think if i was forced to become a theist, id choose god over the tree. Well, to me it just seems like a bunch of hocus pocus, but whatever also, i dont know much about the wiccan religion besides what i saw on wife swap with a wiccan family, so i might be very off, excuse me if i am ^^ . You might want to try youtube, im sure they have some interesting videos explaing their beliefs

Wiccans are the traditional witches as I understand it and their religion is based around Gia as a god which is in tune with the Earth and thus as the Earth is in tune with the Universe being the tiny speck within it as it is a part of the Universe. How the speck on the Earth speck relates to the rest of the Universe is based on their relation to Gia. Not a bad thing considering each of us lives on Earth. The magic which I can only base on LaVey Satanists from which Satanists have based their "power" from is essentially the same only the Wiccans (Druids) have been practicing for years and years and years beyond LaVey.
Magic well that is a questionable subject all together... psychics and such as questionable as well. It's all a matter of influence a person has over another and sexuality is a great influence.
