Thanks for your kind thoughts. I wouldn't be at all surprised if my mother were in the same situation as yours by this time next year. She's 89 and just suffered an acute stroke, and we're taking it a day at a time.
Your post reminds me that our actions won't generally have universal or even international significance. Instead, they'll have their most profound effect within our own relatively small circle of influence.
I hope your mom finds a few more days of happiness before she sheds this mortal coil, and I hope my mom can do the same, and I hope you and I and everyone we correspond with on this forum can do the same.
