First I want to point out that US is not the only one in the war with terrorism, and definately is a new country in that war.Russia has been in the fight for over 100 years.They have not been religious for that long. US supplied the weapons to terrorists thus Russia lost the war in Afganistan. Then US blamed Russia for all the destruction, Russia supposedly caused to a very messed up country even before Russia came. US set it self up into the war of terrorism.This is not a war on just on Islam. This is indeed a war on terrorism. It doesnt matter to US what religion or race the terrorists are as long as they have a tip about a WOMD or any other good weapon. Admit it, US is looking for a fight. And the way their foreign diplomacy is set up, they are in big. They want to set up democracy? Fine, but do other countries need to change the system of Gov't if it has worked for them for hundreds of years? US needs to become more tolerant of other Gov't and stop to try to spread democracy all over the world because it will simply not work.
Conclusion:
The war is a war on terrorism, not Islam because US don't take that into consideration. They, of course have things against it but don't show it. The terrorists back up their actions using the Qua'ran but they do it just to bring more people to their cause, not because they are actually follow the religion as hard as that. Would Osama Bin Laden die for the god?
Of course not, because he is hiding. The use the Qua'ran to backup themselves with blind followers who will do anything in the name of the religion. Blind followers exist in every religion thus making this a fight against blind following , rather than any other religion.
