Default IT's amazing what we assume sometimes

For years, I thought that when Catholics spoke of the Immaculate Conception, they were speaking of the conception of Jesus in Mary's womb. I would bet most folks thought the same thing, including Catholics. Seems the IC refers to the conception of Mary in her mother's womb. Boy, was I wrong. But one is just as believeable as the other.

Apparently in the RCC doctrine, there is no salvation without Mary. I find it ironic when Christian's will dismiss the tens of thousands of Marian apparitions experience by Catholics by claiming they are "hallucinations" and "delusions".

And my soul said, "Let us pass on. He is the realist, who turns his back on the whole he cannot grasp, and busies himself with a fragment."

You can find information here to back up his claim, which seems to be true.
Cathlolic answers and Catholic encyclopedia I guess I should thank being raised a Catholic for some of the knowledge my brain contained

Me too. Christians are generally more gullible than that.
