I just got back from a week vacation with my in-laws(and my wife's aunts and uncles etc.., about 35 people in all). Anyhow, three of her uncles and her father are evangelical pastors and they want me to find the truth in Kentucky.

I had no idea that such a place existed. They all attended the opening and talked about how many prominent geologists/palentologists backed up the work that was going on there. I have yet to find any scientists whom list their credentials on their site, but I will continue to look.

I told them I would go as long they would go to the american museum of natural history with me.

Has anyone here been to this place?

If this is the same place (and I think it is), in high school I attended a symposium for science and engineering (in which the debate team I captained won $2,000 for our science department. Geek moment me!), and the final speaker showed videos from this place. One such video was the spokesperson for this museum demonstrating how the museum accounts for the existence of dinosaurs. He says something to the effect of, "Many civilizations have tales of dragons, which bear an uncanny resemblance to dinosaurs. Coincidence? I think it's safe to assume humans and dinosaurs co-existed not that long ago."

Why would you need to "assume" anything when science can provide direct and credible evidence that they didn't?

I would love to go..and just laugh my entire time i am there...id probably either be taken out on a stretcher from passing out after laughing so hard i couldnt breathe...or taken out by the security guys
