The "Cambrian Explosion": There is nothing to ignore. There are many articles written about this as well. There are more than one reason that worked together. Examples would be increased oxygen, development of certain genetic characteristics that lead to faster competition, and just the fact that it took a while for the animals to develope enough "hard parts" like bones to make an impact in the fossil record. Nothing about it refutes evolution. If you believe that you just don't get it. It is just something that hasn't been completely explained yet. Nothing about that shows it cannot be completely explained. And by the way, not all phyla appeared in the Cambrian age. Quite a few were post-Cambrian.
