| Creationism Hi
Creationism...
Lol . I've argued 100's into hate of piglet over this one.
What 'believers ' hate is any who can undermine their beliefs, ergo , them.
Might leave it for a new generation of free thinkers.
It's so easy to destroy creationist theory that it should be a 'primer'
course.
The only thing you need to use to show creationism for the crap it is.
Is a brain.
My 11 year old daugter did it. In a school essay that got an A+
,so can you.
The tittle of her essay was.
"If god made everything in 4004 bc.
Why did he make it to look like it evolved."
Piglet

Religion does not deny evolution as a whole, it just rejects that humans have evolved from apes etc. |

Current studies indicate that we didn't evolve *from* apes; we and apes evolved from a common ancestor approximately six million years ago. There are marked similarities in our DNA and that of chimpanzees (96% match).
If it turns out that science is accurate on this point, and science is making an increasingly good case for this theory, why should religions continue to deliberately teach an inaccurate view? Most of us now think that the world is round, not flat; and that we revolve around the sun and not vice-versa. A religion that does not change to accommodate new data dooms itself to irrelevance. |

| My religion does not reject evolution. It even acknowledges that there were other intelligent creatures on earth prior to Adam (man/sapian). But man has not evolved from anything. He has been created by God from clay/earth. |

Oh yea. Because someone told you to believe it and it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

(2) Let's not allow that to detract from the fact that it doesn't matter why you believe it. What is important is that you believe something there is no logical reason to believe. In this case it's the god/clay/earth nonsense.
