| I always thought it was because she was impregnated by the hand of god, but never knew his touch. She was married for awhile. She had sex more than once. Guaranteed. |

| Yeah, but "impregnated by the hand of god" is silly. This does not happen because the "the hand of god" is not a real idea. And the question of belief in the literal reality of that statement misses the point entirely.
Who knows what Mary did where sex is concerned. The story is about Christ's Life, not Mary's sexual behavior.

| It's only silly if you don't believe in God. |

| Believing in god doesn't make it so that people have babies without 2 humans combining sperm and egg.

| Jesus was not born of man, or He would have been born into sin like we are. He is God's Son, and was born perfect. By the work of the Holy Spirit Jesus was born and brought into the earth. He was born with complete knowledge of everything, even when He was a child He was teaching people God's word and showing the priests how to teach as well. Men tried to trap Him with man questions and always failed. But how can you expect to trap God with questions in the first place.

The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritual discerned." |

| That's not the way the world works faith. Look around you. You're relating a story that's something mythological like george washington and the cherry tree or whatever it was.
People are born and sometimes do cool things and then stories get told about them.
People are not ACTUALLY born of virgins. The point is not that he was born a virgin, but that his life and teachings were spiritual and separate from the carnal nature of life.
To think otherwise is just silly. And to really get into the literal truth of the story that is told about jesus is to utterly disrespect his teachings in the first place as they are teachings of enlightenment and compassion.

| Since when was Jesus born knowing everything? He didn't even know he was the son of god until he was like what, 12? 18? We don't know anything about Jesus between 18-30. |

| The second son of god then... Because in the buddha story, queen maya of all of the universe comes to the buddha while he's being tempted (in the same way that christ was tempted) and says "this is my beloved son" in an identical manner to the way that the voice of god said "this is my beloved son" when the dove descended when christ was baptized.
Only buddha was half a milenia before christ
