I was raised a Creationist, and there is a great deal about evolution that is sickening to me quite honestly. Survival of the fittest, eating the young, stamping out the weaklings, etc. The implications are appauling. However, many of the arguments against it don't take into account just how gradual and persistent the process is. I can't honestly dismiss that the evidence is compelling to support it. Since there is a gradual evolution of species, there doesn't have to be one or two dramatic, random events to generate a new species. The horse was the product of many offsprings each gradually becoming more of what we see today. I guess you could say it took thousands of somewhat random occurances to produce it? That's how i understand it.

In millions of years that should be enough.

Evolution just fasinates me! To think we were little bacteriums or something, tehe, how cool. Has anyone seen the movie "Inherit the Wind"? It's about a court case between a scientist and creationalist, it's really interesting y'all should check it out

You would have to have two different organisms(animals)of the same sex That evolved randomnly at the same time and in the same area of living. Whether they were two horses or two non-horses and then after they had a horse they would have to make another horse randomly.

Could someone explain this?
So why are there different races of people and different species of the same animal?

They evolved as they adapted to their environment, that's why.

Why do creationists lose every time? Because there is evidence of evolution right here before you in every day life. Creationism's fatal flaw is it's core argument is based on the afct that you have to have "faith" in it to believe in it. Faith vs. proof = proof wins every time.

yes how true...and just to think we all evolved from a single cell...maybe planton...then into more cells...a fish perhaps...then a bird...then a flying monkey...then an ape...to a man...evolution is amazing.
