exactly, a man and a woman can live with and love eachother for the rest of their lives without having a thrid party (the priest) making it official. many species of animals mate for life without any ceremony; they just have sex. besides, i think it is safe to guess that at least half the people getting married get divorced. also, where in gods 10/12 commandments did he ever say, "thou shalt not have sex with the woman you love before marrying her."

last time i checked, divorce is permitted under many circumstances. there is something called a "No Fault Divorce" where a couple can get divorced without any reason given.
