Default On VenomFangX?

VenomFangX is a young man who has produced a 6 part series on youtube called Satan Invented Evolution. He seems well read on the subject and he does seem to make some valad points againsed evolution. I think he has an adgenda and is not trying to be honest in his research and methodology. He makes quite a few obvious erronious assumptions and is skilled in twisting information to fit his view, but after watching the video's I must admit I have taken a lot for granted.
I am wondering if anyone else here have watched them and what they think about them.

VenomFangX... If you stumble across this in your internet escapades I want to both thank you for inspireing me to do more research and ask you what your motivation was.

He gets many, if not all, of his ideas from Kent Hovind. Kent Hovind uses old arguments that have been disproved long ago. There are many web pages that point out the errors in his arguments. Often times he simply misrepresents the theory of evolution.

He was a regular poster here last summer. Posted links to his videos. He was on a pretty good roll and all until Og took him down a few notches. Exposed the fallacies that he was banking on, then moved on.

Misrepresentations and logical fallacies, as pseudonous pointed out, are pretty much the norm with the folks that wish to dispute evolution.

i just saw one of his videos on prooving christianity. his argument was more or less that because all the old testament prophesies about jesus came true, such as the virgin birth, crucifixion, resurection came true, then the stories could not have been made up. basically, you can't make up a prophesy and then have it come true.

first of all, jesus and all of his followers were jewish and definately knew the old testament and all of the prophesys. he is ignoring the possibility that the writers wrote the gospel of jesus with the intention of making jesus fill the prophesys.

the birth of jesus for example: none of the disciples knew mary prior to knowing jesus, so how would they know that she gave birth as a virgin. but since they believe jesus is the christ, and Isaiah said that the christ would be born from a virgin mother, then wouldn't it be easy to simply write down that mary was a virgin. just throwing this out as a possibility to prove that venomfang doesn't know everything.

anyways, i just realized i sould probably be telling him this instead of yall, cause i don't think he comes here anymore. even if i believed what he was saying, i still wouldn't like him because he acts like such a know-it-all (in religion, it is impossible to "know-it-all") and he talks like anyone would be foolish to disagree with him. i would like to see a video of him in a debate where there is actually someone there to argue with him.

That is pretty much how his posts went. Very condescending and authoritative.

On youtube, he closes his videos to comments such that he previews everything before they get posted. The comments to his videos then are entirely praising and positive.

The guy is a nut.

I have seen a few of his videos on Youtube. When he debates with non-Christians, he seems to like to pull the "I hope you find Jesus" lines.
