I'm attracted to loads of different bands and artists from the Beatles to Sinatra to Mozart. My favorite music though is from Fleetwood Mac and Blackmore's Night which is 'Folk Rock'. Such awesome music.

Metal for the most part, old british metal mostly aka Iron Maiden and the stuff, though I have taken a liking to power metal as well.

Classic music too, Wagner, Chopin ect

The Doors and Eagles are good too and that kind of music get listened too rather often here in the house

And at last, (I blame love) I've become addicted to Andrew Lloyd Webber

Put on rap, techno(some hard industrial is good though) pop, the radio, and I feel tempted to beat you with a baseball bat, though for some strange reason I find that I actually can understand why some folks like that crap.

Cheers

I like Indie rock, jazz, folk and reggea.

I am, however very picky within these genres. I prefer the bebop jazz (the bird, dizzy, monk) as far as indie rock I like a lot but here's a few (les savy fav, the strokes, interpol, bloc party, ect.) folk = dylan (not the rock dylan) reggea = bob (but I like others as well).

Rock/alternative. Tool, The Beatles, Radiohead, and Pink Floyd are probably my four favorite bands.

Genesis - Trick of the Tail and earlier
Beatles - Double White and later
well that about dates my formative years

currently revisiting early King Crimson

otherwise listen to pretty much anything my wife buys
eg ...Jesse Cook, JD Lang, Angelique Kidjo, Loreena McKennitt, Joni Mitchell, David Gray, Jewel
pretty much music from around the world - mostly african and middle eastern

well i can listen to jus about anything as long as its not country, and most rap kinda sucks in my opinion also dont like any opera, ewww.....jk, or classical, so basically any kinda rock, just not any heavy metal. Emo/screamo, post hardcore, grunge, alternative, punk and classic rock would be my faves xD
Some good bands in my opinion are: afi, flyleaf, paramore, green day, blink 182, and nirvana and drop dead gorgeous
