Alternative, Rock, Hip-hop, and pretty much everything beside country and some of the weird music they play in piggly wiggly, I have tried to like it but just cant stand it. |

| Yes King Crimson did some great songs ... remember Cream? I love music except Rap. That's a form of poetry not music. I could listen to hard core country before I could listen to Rap, and I'm not a fan of country at all. I actually like a couple of the new Maroon Five songs but my favorite is almost anything by Nickelback.

| Funnily enough I know quite a lot about Van der Graaf Generator...while most of their stuff is totally unlistenable (A Plague of Lighthousekeepers has to be the worst album title in history) my mate Marcus Clackson used to work in an off licence (a liquor store) where the lead singer, Peter Hammill, was one of his regular customers. He did a very beautiful song called Vision (Peter Hammill did, not my mate Marcus. Marcus couldn't sing to save his life. I should know, I was in a band with him).
Prog rock really is quite ghastly. I like it but it is ghastly. Most of the protagonists were British. It is something we, as a nation, are thoroughly embarrassed about.
I love Jethro Tull though. They are my guilty secret.

| Metal: Gothic, Doom, Symphonic, Folk/Viking, Death (Gothenburg) and some Black
Also enjoy Gothic/Industrial, Scandinavian/British folk, Traditional Japanese/Chinese music, some Indian (and Metal with Indian/Middle Eastern influences, such as Samael) as well as some classical/romantic/opera (and Metal with operatic influences/vocals)
NOT keen on tacky pre-fab pop, repetitive, vacuous dance music, Hip Hop, Country and 'Nu-metal'.
