Default Pope John Paul II

I’m not really one for biopics. Usually I just want to be mindlessly entertained when I go to the movies (common whos with me?) but after a fellow intern at umg wouldn’t stop talking about John Voights “stellar” performance I reluctantly accepted – and was pleasantly surprised. I never realized how amazing and epic the life of Pope John Paul II was and John Voights performance really was worth my colleagues ‘rave’ review. If anyone is interested you can check out the website at johnpaul2movie.com. I think there is a clip up there as well. Oh yeah, last thing, it has the guy who played the Dread Pirate Roberts in the Princess Bride as the Popes Younger Self – seriously sweet I know.

There has been a movement since the time of Pope John Paul II death, to make him a saint. Usually there is a 5 year waiting period before it is even considered or investigated by the Roman Catholic Church, but the church is already inverstigating doing it and one thing stood in the way, a miracle performed by the former Pontif.

Now there is a "miracle" supposedly that happened after his death. Read the whole account for yourself, here:

'John Paul II has cured me,' French nun recounts - Yahoo! News

Just a little too convient to believe for me, but I'm sure some of you will eat it up.
