It is honestly one of my favorite movies of all time. Not only is it good, it helped me win a game of 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon. A friend of mine bet me a beer that I couldn't connect Big Bird to Ron Jeremy in 6 films or less . . .

-Big Bird had a brief appearance in The Muppet Movie with Frank Oz.
-Frank Oz played Yoda in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, which also starred Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.
-Carrie Fisher was in Blues Brothers with Bill Murray.
-Murray was in The Life Aquatic with Willem Dafoe.
-Willem Dafoe was in Boondock Saints with Ron Jeremy.


Now that I think about it, you could actually do it in just 3 movies:

-Big Bird had a brief appearance in The Muppet Movie with Frank Oz.
-Frank Oz voice acted in Muppet Treasure Island with Billy Connolly.
-Billy Connolly was Il Duce in Boondock Saints, also featuring Ron Jeremy.
