Hey -

Sylvester Stallone just made another Rocky movie called Rocky Balboa - and so far, the critics are giving it mixed reviews. I have to say that I loved the first movie and the four sequels were more than a little bit disappointing after that... but I'm intrigued and think I might want to go see this latest (and supposedly final) installment of the Rocky saga.

So what do you guys think? Has any one caught it yet? Is it any good?

Rocky Balboa puts the gloves back on to take on the hip young new fresh whatever guy... that was supposed to sound really dramatic at first but I gave up

I'm not that interested. I think I saw parts of them all, but don't think I've seen any of them all the way through. Stallone looks old, too. Not appealing at all.

Is the movie out already? I didn't think it was out yet. I liked the first couple than it got a little boring to me. I will probably rent this one.

I agree with you tator03. I saw two or three of them and that was enough. After so many I really get bored with them.

I've seen all the movies, and I am not really fond of them. I have no interest in seeing (and paying $10 to see) the new movie either. I hope they do something in the plotline that will make it impossible to make another Rocky movie. Talk about beating a series of sequels into the ground...

Yes, I did see an interview with Sylvestor Stallone the other night and he said that this will be the last one. He is also considering doing another Rambo. He said he likes to tie up lose ends.

I think he should have retired it as well as Rambo (the new rambo begins shooting in jan/feb) He is a B actor who fluxes in and out of popularity atm he is pretty much out and has been for at least five years. His last big success was Cliffhanger and Demolition man and that was in the 90's
