Default Dog the Bounty Hunter ARRESTED

Here's the link

'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Arrested - He was taken in on kidnapping charges - Zap2it

I think this whole issue is crazy. He is facing kidnapping charges because he caught a serial rapist on Mexican soil.First off this guy needed off the streets and the way it seems with all the US "bad guys" running to Mexico it shows they don't give a hoot about it.BUT the one who brings to justice a rapist gets in trouble.

Dosn't make since in the least.I don't care if its illegal to bounty hunt down there or not.I would rather have a bounty hunter illegally get a serial rapist then have him wonder the streets for his next victim.

Yeah sometimes red tape and beauracracy gets in teh way of justice and what's right and wrong. But other times it protects our freedoms.

Definitely a give and take issue.

Unfortunately common sense seems to escape the most obvious situations. What justice is served by giving the criminal more rights than their victims...

You're right, justice wasn't served in this situation. However, according to the source article, it appears that Dog went into Mexico to catch this criminal and did not follow Mexican legal procedures to try and extradite him. That sounds like Dog thinks he's above the law, too. You'd think, given his enormous popularity and widespread viewing audience, that he'd try to be a little careful to look good in front of the camera, but no...

That sucks. I spent 5 days in the Tijuana jail (shudders).
It's like a midieval dungeon and they say the Mexican Federale prisons are even worse. Bounty hunters have been in and out of Mexico, unfettered for years. I think this has more to do with, "Oh, so you Americans suddenly want to enforce your immigration and border laws? Well, we have immigration and border laws, too. Watch this..."
I'm just guessing, but the timing is....He seems more like a hostage, a bargaining chip for negotiations.
