Why do Jehova's witnesses call God "Jeovah"?

One of them explained it to me and at the time it made sense, but that was a while back and ive totally forgotten.

I remember him giving me biblical proofs about why the name "Jehovah" was correct.

Jehoviah witnesses usually come knocking on your door with a shirt and tie door advertising their faith and not explaining the transliteration of the tetragrammaton YHWH.
