it doesnt matter what say
God (christian way),
Allah(muslim way),
Khoda (persian word for God),
Dieu (French way),
Jehova (Jehovas witness way of calling God),
etc,
we are all referring to the same thing: GOD ! |

With all due respect to your chosen religious beliefs, I personally do not see Muhammed as someone I wish to learn from let alone exalt as some kind of "prophet of God". Just due to the fact of the way he lived his life (married an 8 year old) and converted all of those countries to islam by the force of the sword instead of the force of ideas. This is not forward thinking from what Christ taught. Im not a big fan of the new testament but from what I read in the quran, it seems to go even more backward in its thinking than new testament. Im not meaning to say the quran is evil or anything like that and Im sure there are good things written there, Im just speaking generally here and these are my opinions. The one thing I think the quran got right is its sense of community in that we are all one and should help one another and not allow the poor members of the community to struggle and suffer. That, I feel is the greatest lesson that Islam has to teach to the world and I believe that efforts should go to teaching that lesson instead of trying to convert others to Islam. This is my belief for other religions as well. Instead of trying to "convert" others (which has actually led to war) religions would be most effective stressing their best ideas to mankind.
