| You need to get out more, Mick lol. Seriously...I like those red-letter Bibles, where the words that Jesus spoke are in red. If you just go through and read what he actually said, it bears no resemblance to man-made churches and their rules. He was a radical, anti-establishment, free-thinker, who threatened the religious and political powers of the day.
"Love God and your neighbor, this is the whole law." It doesn't get any simpler than that. |

| Yeah, he was radical and that's awesome, but he still said the things he said and did the things he did. |

As a Free Christian I belong to no Org Rel at all for the simple reason I don't need them to do my thinking for me, and they can all go up the spout together for all I care.. ;)
Remember, Org Rel killed Jesus..
Remember too - Jesus said :-"You have one teacher, me" (Matt 23:10) |

Would organized religion have anything to do with a 2000 year old fortress or are you the only one inside this conceptualized thingy? I find this particularly odd since organized religion is responsible for the canonization and teachings that have built this "2000 year old fortress" Quote:

When any nonchristian says "I believe such and such.." what they mean is its just their personal opinion, hunch or guess without a shred of backup.
Such guesses are therefore just blank cartridges!
Christians on the other hand fire full metal jacketed rounds because we've got all 66 books of the Bible to back us up Genesis Exodus Leviticus Numbers Deuteronomy Joshua Judges Ruth 1 Samuel 2 Samuel 1 Kings 2 Kings 1 Chronicles 2 Chronicles Ezra Nehemiah Esther Job Psalms Proverbs Ecclesiastes Song of Solomon Isaiah Jeremiah Lamentations Ezekiel Daniel Hosea Joel Amos Obadiah Jonah Micah Nahum Habakkuk Zephaniah Haggai Zecharia Malachi Matthew Mark Luke John The Acts Romans 1 Corinthians 2 Corinthians Galatians Ephesians Phillipians Colossians 1 Thessalonians 2 Thessalonians 1 Timothy 2 Timothy Titus Philemon Hebrews James 1 Peter 2 Peter 1 John 2 John 3 John Jude Revelation |
Or, as a "Free Christian" is your fortress really only ((insert your age here)) years old? And therefore, in your terminology, a blank cartridge. |

| This would be the actual quote I was referring to about the fortress: Quote:

To get in, people needn't be shy, they simply have to knock at the door
Jesus said - "Knock and it'll be opened.....whoever comes to me I'll never turn away" (Matt 7:7/ John 6:37) | |
