So in short, if Christianity is true, it will never be mythology for reasons previously stated. If its a lie, it will probably become mythology.

You can never convince me that Christianity will ever become a myth. It is as much a part of our society as the human race itself.

I think calling something a "myth" is highly subjective. We call many creation myths "myths" while they are believed to be true by their followers (and usually have an associated religion or belief system). It all depends on the point of view.

Mormons are probably gonna end up taking over the world some day O_o, theyre extremely productive with their missions. Muslims are very close behind them, with mosques on almost every street in the UK nowadays.
I would disagree with this statement. Islam is much bigger and growing much faster than mormonism. In fact, recently the mormon church is experiencing a decline in their conversion rates and certainly in their retention rates - although their public relations department still like to tell the world that they are one of the fastest growing religions in the world. I am part of a growing trend of ex or post mormons who are removing themselves from the records of the church. As many as join the church in North America are leaving the church. Check out the following information.

Mormon are departing from the faith as fast as fast as converts are joining

I know this is off-topic, but it was mentioned by SithLord and George. I don't believe that the earth was created in 6 days. I think that some Christians' insistence that every word of the Bible be taken literally is counter-productive.
My kids are being raised Catholic (I'm divorced) and my son's Catechism book states that the story of Adam and Eve is an allegory. Very few major Christian denominations actually accept the Creation story as literal historical or scientific fact. So a vocal minority have created an adversarial relationship between spirituality and science. I don't believe they're mutually exclusive.
On-topic: The Greeks' religion died with the civilization, and the Romans' when Caesar was converted. Well, almost died (Christmas trees and yule logs, anyone?). Monotheism has been on the rise for 2000 years, and spans the globe, so it's unlikely to, as in the past, disappear with the defeat of one culture, or the decision of one man. But, hey, what do I know?
This is way too much thought for me right now. I'm going to a fun thread and talk about music, or what flavor ice cream is best....
