Look around the world all you want to. It ain't there.

The Garden of Eden is a story from very long ago, in a time where only oral history existed.

It's the saga of how the first soul became incarnate on Earth.

Adam represents the pure human soul, uncontaminated with earthly dirt. It is the highest form of creation next to the godhead itself.

A new soul on a new planet. Further down on the creational spectrum than had ever occured before. "Far" from the godhead. Adam is on his own here, in this world of his creation. Yes, Adam created this world. Just as you continue it today. Because you too are Adam.

Eve is not a person either. She represents the creative abilty of Adam in this new world. One created not by divine magical powers, but created by the mind itself. Adam is now experiencing life in a human body, far removed from the godhead by the mind that comes with the body.

It prefers outer stimulation to inner vision. Adam quickly finds this out. Now life is all about stimulation. The memory of an existance before this is fading away. And indeed, it's now the stuff of legends and religions.

Heaven, is where you came from in the beginning. It is your true state. One where your will creates whatever you desire.

This world is hell, because it runs totally on mental energies. It's hell because your mind will never allow you to figure it out. No matter how hard you try, there's always another horizon waiting for you.

The only way home is to put the mind in park and listen.

Difficult task for something that craves stimulation.

You must remember that religion is an earthly creation, and to the earth it will bind you.

The hunt for the Garden of Eden on earth will go on for centuries more. Because people WANT to believe. And of course everybody wants to find some concrete evidence of what they believe in so they can rub it in the face of everyone who doesn't.

You have the same thing in Judaism and Islam. Everybody is on the lookout for "signs" so they can prove themselves right in the eyes of the world.

They never will.

I prefer the story of evolution and modern neuroscience than a metaphor based on oral tradition from a time when humanity was ignorant. I prefer a story that can be read from nature itself instead of one concocted by the human mind in a time of ignorance. I appreciate what the eden story is and I think it's cool that people have intuition for such things so long ago.

I also am not a fan of this notion of "uncontaminated with earthly dirt"... I prefer realizing that man (adam) is earthly dirt. I think the eden metaphor puts us at odds with nature (and thus ourselves).

But that would confine you to the physical sciences as they are understood today. There is a cutoff point for humans where they can go in the physical world with a mind that is also a product of the physical world.

The existance you had before you came here is outside of all those physical laws. In this world of laws, you are at the mercy of them. In the higher realms, you command them.

I call this world dirt because it is near the bottom of the creational spectrum. Matter is course and harsh compared to what lies beyond it. When you encase yourself in matter, matter is what you see. And you'll build your world accordingly.

Takes a long time to dig your way out again.

You fell from heaven (jumped actually), got drunk on sensation, and are slowly waking up to the fact you're a long way from home. So the journey begins.

ADAM, is all of humanity.

EVE, is all the creation that comes from ADAM (She was created of Adam, remember?)

EDEN is the world you created with EVE.

The SERPENT, is the mind itself, as it preaches the dual nature of all things here. Right and wrong. Good and evil. It won't allow the spirit to see the world in any other way until it has been silenced.

The APPLE, are all the attractions of the world. Its the drawing point for souls looking to experience life here.

The fact that you're sitting there reading this means you took the apple.

I'm here to remind you of where you came from. In the beginning...

We will never be, nor were we, ever separate from the universe and God. I, the universe, and God are one, at least that what I believe.

What you call physical science of today is not locked into the approximations of today. Any true science keeps changing with better approximations as we understand them and agree on them as they match what is observed. However we may use outdated science, like we can use Newtonian physics, when dealing with certain issues.

Think of what you consider science (at least from how you used it here) and spirituality and a converging course. I posted before that when we can measure “God” it will become a “rational” explanation. Science will offer us those eyes.

I think that when we die the atheist and theist will look at each other and say
“AHHH, you were right”.
