It would have been a perfect encounter for Mary. The act of love was for her so it would have been everything her heart and body enjoyed.
This is one area that I think Hindus have a good understanding. They do not separate the needs of the body from the needs of the soul. The inputs of the body add to the experience of soul, they are here for our enjoyment of sharing. The pleasure of existence with each other, for each other. This is not the same as selfish wants and addiction.

Good point AB517. That's one of the things I never liked about the Christian story: all the pain and suffering of childbirth without any of the fun of sex. Besides, who could Mary have gone to in order to charge God with Rape?

John while I think what you said is humorous .... if you use correct terminology instead of slang you can get away with more .... so use the big fifty cent words and it slides past the cyber patrol ..... I think the rules of forum is/are that we should use a slight filter on what or how we say things and that we cannot directly call others foul names .... we are allowed to say that our personal belief is that they are crazy (Cathy comes to mind) things like that but you might be tip toeing on the line with this post ... funny as it might be ... just a thought

Really, i don't think Abel is too bad...seriously...he just needs more time..besides staying on here, he's got to have some real guts! i went to an atheist forum ,and was "mobbed" 10 min flat....now i just keep everything i post there sugarcoated, and so far its worked....crazy people....
