I think this is what Og had in mind when one thinks god is a being.
A lawyer will know that the law is ever evolving, the precedents grow and the statutes change.
A digger of ditches knows there are better tools than shovels for digging ditches.
An accountant also knows the a calculator is one of many tools, but his most important tool is applying logic to the financial data and evaluating the the financial evidence. With out this his calculator is useless.
All of the above professions in an ideal situation will rely more on reason and logic and not some inappropriate tool.
