If your friends can't accept you for who you are, they weren't good friends in the first place.

Congratulations. It is a cause of celebration and not mourning. Welcome to reality. There is no need to feel remorse.

I've really only told one of my Christian friends that I don't believe, and he hasn't taken it to well.
No ****. (I see that there is still censorship...Sh*T).

The person I told is the one who by far knew the most about the doubts I was having about Christianity over the last years. He doesn't know how to interact with someone who has rejected what is the key thing in his life.
I just try and hold back the laughter and tears at the same. Think about it. Is god supposed to be a communication barrier among friends?

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had some advice for how to bring this subject (not believing in Christianity anymore) up to Christan friends. Or perhaps someone could relate how this went for them?
It depends on your personality. If you want to be aggressive or passive. Either way, I would ask for evidence.

Best of luck.

I turned once to my catholic friend and told him :

Listen. The human species very much in the form like we have it now exists for 100 000 years. Actually it's more, but I only need a 100 000 . After 98 000 years of abstention omnipotent God hits upon a brilliant idea of how to forgive our sins. He sends his own son to the earth so that he could die on the cross for our sins. The news of the event spreads so slowly that it still hasn't penetrated the whole world. Virgin birth is more likely than that, man.

Why didn't God just forgive our sins if he wanted to ? Who was he trying to impress anyway ? Probably himself. He had thought for 98 000 years only to come up with that idiotic idea. That's unbelievable

My friend didn't answer, afer some time he told me he has to study the bible more deeply. He wasn't offended by what I said

I'm glad to have some effect anyway
