I am pretty sure a tree produces good fruit and rotten fruit alike.

A tree that produces money fruit.....is a good tree.

Provided only I know it's location. Otherwise it would have to be deemed a bad tree.

yeah it is easy.
A good tree knows when to come over and offer me some shade in the summer and picks up its own toys it "leaves" around.

the question for me is .... for whom or what?

wasps, greenfly, fungi, moths, butterflies, birds, bears, us?

so the question likely has a certain anthropomorphic perspective.

so the answer from a scientific point of view is ..... there is no such thing as good or bad in nature?

thats what i was wondering when i read it, good or bad relative to what and also the tree it self might be prefectly fine, but the soil, air, or sunlight can be the real cause. ( tree is used as a metaphor/smile thing to man)
