| proving all other religions wrong. This question (and the inevitable answer) is one of the ones that turned me into an agnostic. This is mainly aimed at believers to see if they can do it, rationalize it effectively
The question is NOT to prove YOUR religion right. Prove everyone else's is wrong. This has nothing to do with atheist thinking. Say I'm a Sun worshiper. Prove to me that I'm wrong and you (a Christian) are right.
-EDIT- okay, the sun was a bad choice. Say I believe in the Greek Gods living on Mt. Olympus drinking ambrosia all day. Prove that wrong.

Science says the sun is a star, and that stars 'die', therefor you are worshiping a dying God

| I don't personally have proof, but I'm fairly certain that if you ask those who took photos like this one : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:M...summit_PJS.JPG
They will testify they found no such thing and no signs of The gods at the summit (s?). |

| Does this constitute proof? Please prove the accuracy of this statement. Please prove the Sun is a star, and that it will die. And I do not mean using assumptions - absolutely everything has to be shown in order to withstand scrutiny. Even if 100,000 other scientists agreed with it to this point, doesn't mean none of them missed anything.
Even that very simple God, is very very hard to disprove if you are 100% thorough and skeptical. |

Obviously, the Gods didnt' have any use for the climbers so they didn't bother showing themselves |

| Good point. I didn't notice it at first but the proof given that the sun is not a god started by saying the sun is a star. The rest of the disproof wasn't really necessary; it just gave it the illusion of being a counter arguement rather than a simple denial. |

Obviously, the Gods didnt' have any use for the climbers so they didn't bother showing themselves | Im sure that contingency plan was in place for people of that theism at that time. we should pretend agnosticism is a religion and convert people...
