Default Murder, mentally insane

Murder is a serious crime in the bible. Cain was severely punished by god for killing his brother, and it is condemned by one of the 10 commandments. If murder is so sinful, then why would god create men to intentionally do such ? Modern science tells us that brain abnormalities can cause abnormalities which produce the serial/mass killers of society. Granted some of it may be attributed to environment but genetics and brain function are a serious factor to creating serial killers. One of the main factors responsible for forming a killer is a lack of self control. Most killers give into their urges. This is due to the frontal lobe either being malformed or injured. Another factor is personality disorders. A common disorder among killers is antisocial personality disorder. A key symptom in this disorder being a lack of empathy. My question then is why would god send a man/woman born with these abnormalities to hell, when god was the one who manufactured them to sin in the first place ?

I am sure the religious excuse will be "Free Will." But it's kind of lame an all loving god would let his children butcher his other children.

God does not punish anyone who cannot distinguish between right and wrong. Ie He does not punish the insane for their crimes. He does, however, compensate thier victims.

I can't imagine any compensation for some of these horrific crimes ... what kind of compensation is for there for the people's family left behind?

I apologise for banging the same old drum but Cain was punished not executed by god for his crime. He then rehabilitated himself, moved to the land of Nod, got married and became a law abiding citizen away from the stern glance of his maker.

Leaving that to one side, from an agnostic point of view I would say man has created the crimes and man has created the punishments. If there is a further punishment or reward on the other side remains to be seen.

I know cain was not killed. If memory serves god placed a curse on anyone who killed him, why I don't know. He was still punished for his crime. Anyways religion or not murder is still something humans consider " evil " and that is why it is punishable. If murder was the norm it might be ok, but it isnt. Most who commit murder and have no qualms about it usually have a brain abnormality.
