The persistance of this delusion is remarkable. The fact that people want a black and white end for the world, where their side wins, is not remarkable.

If you want to know what is anti-christ, just attend church. You will be surrounded by people who are in essence anti-christ, because although they know the teachings of Christ, they actively do the opposite. Along with their preachers, who know what Christ supposedly said and they do not practice it or teach it, rather they concentrate on the sugar coated gospel, where all you have to do is "share the gospel" and be a "good Christian'.

Read the red letters in the Bible and ask yourself, is this actually taught or practiced and the implications of it? You will come to the same conclusion as I did, IT IS NOT.

So pastors fill your head with misinformation. They concentrate on prophesy that can not be interpreted until AFTER the fact; it is Speculation. The Revelation of John is the only book in the bible which is concluded with a dire warning about it's contents: PUNISHMENT for anyone who adds to or subtracts from the book. Speculation adds to and subtracts from the prophecy. So if you are Christian, stop speculating.

I learned early on about these things when I was a Christian and concentrated on Chirst's Teachings.

If you want to know if what he said was true, do it.

I agree with Chap... Just because Nero used the 666 doesnt mean that they were refering to him. In fact most of prophesies have nothing to do with the Roman Empire. You guys are only looking at one side, one viewpoint. Your missing most of the story.

Depends on your church.
Some churchs are greedu and want money, others just want to be in the "holier than thou" crowd, and some sincerely care about God.
My church is currently looking for a new pastor, and our Youthpastor is running most of the things going on , sun...My youth pastor puts others first, man enough to step up and apologize when he is wrong, and he always stands up for what is right....Not all churchs are like that.

Personally, I think humans will bring our own extinction upon us before we ever get destroyed otherwise. Stupidity and power don't mix well together, esp. when the stupid ones have the bombs.

People have always been 'stupid', if you want to put it like that. Not stupid enough to start nuclear war though. There's no way I think that can ever happen.

I think humans might do that but I dout if they will. People seem to be getting sick of wars and will probably choose a compromise over more fighting.
