What i am saying is the people who choose God, God uses them in different ways according to them and in how they were created their likes, strengths weaknesses. | Answer the question: Who is calling who?
I am only confused by two contradictory statements. Does god call on us, or do we call on him?

Religious nutbags are always accusing atheists of taking things out of context when quoting crap that's wrong in the bible.
This is proof right here that even you guys do teh same thign so long as it goes hand in hand with your agenda. 2 completely different takes on teh same passage that doesnt mention any evidence that would back either of them!

| What you just said holds no weight because you havn't supported that our comments were wrong in any way. However you are right in the fact that there are people on both sides of the debate who will argue random things just to save face.

| Anyway, in case chap doesn't reply to me, the point of what I was saying is this:
How, if god knows EVERYTHING, FOR ALL TIME, PAST PRESENT and FUTURE, can you believe you actually have a choice? If god knows everything, it's all predetermined. YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. God has already determined who is going to heaven and who is not.
If I'm not mistaken, predetermination is one of the fundamental doctines of Calvanism, and is why many people look down upon his teachings, because they eliminate any free will you have.

| Knowledge doesnt mean determination. If i go into the future and you pick a red candy then i go back in time and offer you the same red and green candy i didnt pick for you. You made the choice.

| I'd take both the red and green candy and put them in my pocket.
Later I would give the green candy to one person and the red candy to another.
I picked witch candy they got because they chose to accept the candy. And I didn't even have to travel into the future.

| Well God simply has the knowledge of whats going to happen. Having the knowledge doesnt mean he infringed on free will.

| Why is it allways about us accepting "Him"? Why is it so hard to believe that he might be willing to accept us for who we are whether we serve him or choose to live the life he gave us free of the human controlled churches?
