| I am absolutely uncertain as to the point of your post.
This is an agnostic forum-most everyone here is agnostic in some form, and those who are posting in defense of christianity, are welcome also. I enjoy the debate.
The fact is that this is an exchange of knowledge and that's not bad for anyone.
There are many things that define us as individuals-education, career, family-your statement that our view of God and the Bible defining us is shortsighted. But I will say this, you sound angry-is that your intent? Quote:

So far I haven't seen a REAL Christian on this web site. All I have seen are individuals, all with varying opinion, lots of opinion.
To be honest, real Christians would not waste their time arguing the finer points of their religion - they would be to busy DOING things for KINGDOM rather than TALKING about the KINGDOM.
And by the way I WILL JUDGE. I am not a Christian, I don't follow stupid rules the church interprets that tell me not to DISCERN fact from fiction, hypocrit from follower of Christ, crappy teaching from good teaching, and good person from bad. | |

Some to be evangelists some to be pastors and some God has just raising a familly and witnessing to the people around them. Not everyone is called to witness to thousands at a time. Some are just to live in a relationship with Christ and let others see theyr walk with him

Hung around with em treated them very HIGHLY.
But i do have a question for you. If it is ok for everyone else to debate, why is it wrong for a "real" christian to kick back at the computer and talk to?

It must be because those called to spread the word of god are so pure and full of the spirit ... oops, sorry I forgot about the countless incidents of murder and suicides provoked by cult leaders; acts of imbezzlement, extortion and adultry comitted by some of the most popular evangelists of thier day; and, to throw in a cheap shot, the recent CREDIBLE cases of pedophilia against the catholic church.
These are the people we are supposed to follow as we navigate the path of life in the company of a savior that remains an enigma to be interpreted as others see fit? Enlighten me, how does one form a relationship with an intangible entity?

| you ARE taking what he said totaly out of context.
You choose to be a christian God doesnt select people to be followers, the people are to pick him. He doesnt say "I like jill better than polly so polly is going to be left wondering if i exist."
And its a matter of who that person is on rather they go to be a pastor a preacher, and speaker, what have you, Some people are cut out for some jobs and some for others, kinda like us just as humans, some have talents for certain jobs and others for different jobs. lol

| I am not taking it out of context - QUOTE: "God calls different people to different things." That's what I responded to.
Now you're telling me that people choose god.
Wich is it? Who's calling on who?

Anyway.
So, god being omniscient, he knows everything (past present future)?
