| The Blasphemy Challenge Quote:
The Rational Response Squad is giving away 1001 DVDs of The God Who Wasn't There, the hit documentary that the Los Angeles Times calls "provocative -- to put it mildly."
There's only one catch: We want your soul.
It's simple. You record a short message damning yourself to Hell, you upload it to YouTube, and then the Rational Response Squad will send you a free The God Who Wasn't There DVD. It's that easy.
INSTRUCTIONS:
You may damn yourself to Hell however you would like, but somewhere in your video you must say this phrase: "I deny the Holy Spirit."
Why? Because, according to Mark 3:29 in the Holy Bible, "Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin." Jesus will forgive you for just about anything, but he won't forgive you for denying the existence of the Holy Spirit. Ever. This is a one-way road you're taking here.
Once you have shot your blasphemous video, just follow these two easy steps:
1. Go to this link on YouTube to upload your video as a "Video Response" to the Blasphemy Challenge. (You can log in or register on that page if necessary.) Please put the URL The Blasphemy Challenge somewhere in the text description when you upload your video.
2. When the video appears on YouTube, send the URL to this email address: waronchristmas@hotmail.com. Also include a complete United States mailing address* so we can send your free copy of The God Who Wasn't There.
That's it. We're only giving away 1001 DVDs, so blaspheme now. More questions are answered in the FAQ. View the press release here. View television coverage here.
| It seems pointlessly offensive to Christianity and a way for obsessive atheists to stab at the heart of Christian belief. Here is atheism at its worst, where they can be just as childish as the theists. |

| I have no problem with Atheists, but I do have problems when they attack Christianity and other religions for no reason. |

| To me this is very childish. I've heard great things about that movie (from other Atheists of course) but this publicity stunt is immature and bad for Atheists. Of course, to me, saying that statement is nothing more than purposely stepping on a crack to break my mother's back. Which brings me back to it being childish. |

| I understand it completely. Imagine and it isn't hard to is it. Being assaulted by Propaganda by a religion day in and day out... well the person that finds it impossible to believe in some religion that is so inane that these people need to release their fury. How to respond to a childish dreamy religion ESPECIALLY when they practice a two faced type of people. No one can tell me that the principles of Christianity and the principles of Capitalism go hand in hand. They are releasing their frustration at the ambiguity.

| Not to play devils advocate here (no pun intended), but haven't Christians exercised their freedom of speech to the point of offending half the world? I think the youtube post is tasteless but I don't see it as any more tasteless than christians Bible whipping people and forming a base for condescention. I think Atheists have all the same rights the Christians do to exercise their freedom of speech as tastelessly as they like... |

| Oh, come on, it's pure humor. If we can't laugh at our most serious sides, we can't live happily.

| And sometimes not laughing can lead to even more serious consequences. Laughter is one of the most important things in life. Without laughter we would go nuts.
