Well, here's how I look at it. The bible was written by society, not by God himself. If Jesus came today instead of a long time ago, and people went to his teachings, returned home and wrote them down by memory, slightly chaning the story to thier liking. Later they would be translated over and over and over and over again and again. Every now and then a few people would completely change some part to thier liking. Translate it some more and you get it where you are today. So, yes the Bible has some important lessons in it that God himself would probally want you to know. But it should not be take to the extreme. |
