Probably

Would you not want to put up at least some token resistence?

No .... Og is away and I won't have to pay the piper until he comes back besides I don't want to play nice with Pooh .... I have decided I do not like him and he has boy cooties ... resistance is futile .... he must roll over, capitulate and cry out "uncle" before it's too late ... nope, no resistance out of him required .....

I disagree with duck ... Abel is not a troll. Misguided perhaps?

I also disagree with Duck he is not a troll he is cat Pooh and icky

time for a drink!

Nope, no drink time for me ... I'm beginning to write silly things so I need to get my goofy butt to bed .... see ya' around the funny farm!

Goodnight Juris, nightie-night Duck ..... to the rest of you ..... that's all folks!!

There has to be some reason you continue to posts on threads I am on. You continue to make reference to me on other threads also. Could it be you are developing a "Thing" for me? Could it be that your nickname for me of "Pooh" is really a term of endearment?

I'm sorry Deb, but I am happily married to my high school sweetheart. I really did not mean to lead you on by offering you a hug. It could never work out between us. I hope you understand. Best of wishes to you though.

Speaking for myself, I'll have to admit that I am rather close minded on the topic. Sorry.

As for the website, talk about a charlatan affair!!! Just another huckster trying to make a buck off the bible.

You don't have to pay anything. Just go to your local library and check out the dvd. Unless you're SCARED of what you may learn. No one is twisting your arm to get to your wallet. It was simply a dvd that I saw last nite that could quite possibly answer some questions you may have. THAT'S ALL.
You really should broaden your mind. Don't be such a skeptic.
You might actually learn something. Or are you just another Christian hater?
Don't be a chicken.

I did some browsing around that site and read a few of the article links. Actually I believe about a dozen of them on a number of topics. I read through his blog, too. In short? I found this website horribly close minded and somewhat offensive in regards to women, gay people, schools/education, and several other topics.

So, if I am a christian hater, then so be it.

And by the way...I am a marginal catholic and that topic really blew me away. Talk about a gospel of hate.

I agree about the Catholic faith. That's why I'm not one anymore. I don't agree with ALOT of what it says. Even though I was raised in the Cath. church. That really upset my folks when I told 'em that. But, I am a devout Christian.

No, you have me wrong, dude. What Charles Campbell says about the catholic faith deeply offends me.

Sorry 'bout that. What does he say, for instance? I didn't look at that. I hope I haven't offended you also. I just don't agree with the Catholic doctrin. I'm not here to offend anyone. Just learning.

If I said ... "It's what I feel in my heart. I know you are wrong."

It would not convince you would it.
How do you think it's going to convince a questioning teenage son?

I suspect you'll have to join us in the world of reason and put faith aside for awhile to understand your son. Perhaps there is a god? We'll never know, I suspect.

But the world we live in is far too wonderful and real, just to have faith in a possibility.

all the best
