I dislike these reductionist arguments. Anti-theist arguments hurt their own cause when they mix truth with falsehood as you have above.

The history of religions demonstrate that many of them were social revolutions which reformed society in a positive way. A better criticism would be that those reforms are now very much outdated and must be abandoned for the sake of progress.

There is no falsehood in my First statement.

You see when the major religions were first written; The only ones that knew how to write, were the ones already in power;It was a way to stay in power.

Is Islam one of the world's major religions? Because the prophet of Islam was an illiterate who passed the quran down onto his followers verbally. And he was certainly not in power when the message 'came' to him. So I dont know where you're going with this line of argument.
