| The Catholic Guy host Lino Rulli and his crew are in Rome broadcasting from the Vatican. But have visits to holy sites moved the “God-o-Meter” for the show’s resident agnostic? |

"Agnostic:Only The Truth Matters." | I like the first one. The second one: "Only the truth matters," sounds like something fundamentalists christians say.
Here's my idea, something vague enough to be intriguing, yet still informative:
The banner says "Look up the word 'Agnostic' "
Under the banner, you have some cartoon characters, or perhaps portraits of philosophers like Diderot and Nietzsche with speech ballons.
character 1: "What does 'agnostic' mean?"
character 2: "I don't know."

| if i remember right, i found this forum by google.
if people are members of other forums they can if they wish put a graphic link or just a plain text link in their sig. having the code available might encourage graphic links at other sites. this could bring in more people. i currently like it here, its cool.
if you want i can use the 5 or 10 mins at school during the annoucements to create a quick graphic link(they have cooler programs then what i have at home), we could even hold a compatition for best graphic link, or at least have multiple ones available. its all good through, im happy with what we got now, i really like some of the features on this site.

| I'd just like to say I think it is important to reach out to other agnostics so that we all feel emboldened to speak up for ourselves. When you feel that you are the only one that agrees with yourself it is very easy to just keep it to yourself. Just keeping it to ourselves may not be the best course of action when we live in a world where our beliefs are broadly misrepresented for us. For example, "agnostics just can't make up their mind", "agnostics are just confused as to whether there is a god or not" or "agnostics don't think morality is important so they aren't religious". If I'm in a room where such a thing is said, I should really correct them in case there are other agnostics around who feel alone and intimidated. So, I am hopeful that getting into discussions with other agnostics will help me to find my voice and shore up my arguments for such situations. This paragraph could also be extended to include atheists, humanists, freethinkers, etc because despite our trivial differences in philosophy, we are all in the same figurative boat in the real world.
As far as how to accomplish it I think we should all find the method that works for us. I've been carrying a Brights coffee mug around my office about 20 times a day for probably a year now and have not been asked about it once. So that's been a disappointment, but it keeps me buzzing.
I like the idea of cross linking between our various forums because that's how I found out about this one. Plus, it gave me the idea of searching on "agnostic" and "discussion" which turned up some other interesting discussions which I hope to someday have time to explore. I intend to stay active in at least a couple forums now so that I can do some of this cross linking and help grow our groups. |

| How about a really controversial book written by someone of Og's calibre.
say "Rigidly Defined Areas of Doubt and Uncertainty". Sorry Douglas Adams or: "The Knowledge Delusion"
"The Ambivalent Watchmaker"
"The Agnostic Bible"
"The Da Rwinci Code"
Of course these books would have a link to agnosticforums.com

| Joining other message boards solely to promote AF?
No?
Heh, OK. But surely this can't be the only board we all post at? If you're active somewhere else why not make other members aware of this place? Even if none of them are interested, it wouldn't hurt.
