Atheist section?

Perhaps an atheist section in the 'world religions' area. It isn't really a religion as such, but it is a widespread belief, and should have a place here somewhere.

I dont' see why not. While atheism is not a religion, it certainly is thought of in terms of being a belief system. I think it would be very effective to have a place specifically for folks to ask questions and get informative answers about atheism.

I'm still thinking on this one.

I'm leaning towards adding it but still have my reservations. This is an agnostic forum and the problem of agnostics and atheists being lumped together is bad enough already without adding a full section for it. This forum is supposed to be a place for atheists where we allow others to come and talk with us on our terms.

But then again it is rather unfair to have other religions (even though atheism is not a religion) and not have the atheist discussion forum.

We'll see... I may add it tonight

Because religions are for hacks who need others to believe what they believe.

We atheists believe in free thought. Period.

Atheism appears to be turning into a religion lately.

There are huge atheist communities, and many ways of displaying atheist belief. From protests, to youtube, it seems that atheism is inheriting its own dogma, its own set of rules.

Other than the blasphemy post about youtube, what other way does youtube display atheist belief? Just curious.
I sure hope there's no rules to follow. I'd have to find another belief system to follow.

Are you thinking about a new influx of Aetheists in an Agnostic room George. If so I understand but on the other hand I see a lot of Christians in here which is just as bad. I have read a lot of posts from the Agnostics in here and they seem bright enough to handle Aetheists.

Tell you what we can open another thread: WWE Wrestling to divert the more primitive mental states of the assault like thoughts of those Aetheists that just want to play with everyones heads... there you go?
